Born in 1963, he graduated from Luzhou Medical College in 1983 and from West China University of Medical Sciences in 1992. In 2002, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Washington School of Medicine and obtained a Washington medical license. He currently serves as a supervisor of master's students at Guangdong Medical College and University of South China, an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Injury Repair and Wound Healing, a Standing Member of the Guangdong Wound Repair Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Shenzhen Burn Professional Committee.
